taste

I like how none of the poem is wasted. The title is essential to the rest of the work, in a way that "Untitled VII" wouldn't be. And from taste, I get more of a mouth feel, the way words, clothing fine-sultry things, feel in the mouth.

Though after the bourbon, when we get to the still, I'm left standing in the back woods of my people's country, looking for the sheriff out of the corner of my eye.

Oh that's too funny -- I hadn't seen that meaning of "still" when I wrote it, but I love that it's there! Makes it a whole different animal.
