No response can sometimes mean a dizzy signal, which your texts lately certainly promote. I love the way you use the word "snow"--it is so unexpected--and the last line of that same stanza is multifaceted and profound.
Mmmm... a slice of T.S. Eliot, with a sprinkle of Donne, death and decay in just the right amount. Add to that the sacredness of Hopkins. Beautifully written. A sacred day, and a token, indeed.
